'It is understood Essendon, which has been seeking a way of acquiring pick five, is contemplating a deal for the selection that would send several Dons to Whitten Oval. Danny Jacobs and Cory McGrath have been mooted, although Jacobs is also of interest to Port Adelaide, which has held discussions with the Dons over Nick Stevens.

Essendon is also involved in discussions with the Kangaroos about a deal that would have Shane Harvey united with his brother Brent at Arden Street and have Mark Bolton being pursued by Carlton with an extravagant $300,000 a season offer.'

Unless Dodoro sees something special at pick 5, I've got a feeling it will be used to get Stevens to Windy Hill.

Harvey to Kangaroos is looking more and more likely every day. What we get is still a mystery.

Bolton worth 300K? HAHAHAHAHA. He won't take the money though - he was a Bomber fan as a kid and loves the club.

All I want the EFC to do is sign Solomon and Hille and the rest are expendable.
