My Team:
B: Wellman Fletcher Welsh
HB: Reynolds Lucas McPhee
C: Peverill J.Johnson Rioli
HF: Hird Johns Haynes
F: Cupido Lloyd Richards
R: Hille Ramanauskas M.Johnson
I: Bullen Winderlich Watson Allan
E: Hunt Harvey Mercuri
Projected loss of Solly, Bolton, McVeigh, Misiti and Jacobs...delisting C. McGrath...probably only gaining Allan...the above could possibly be classed as the worst case scenario, although I've seen worse teams. Really makes you appreciate the depth of talent on our list. Hard man Johns to come in for the loss of hard men Solly and Barnard.

Geez that was hard, originally left out McVeigh and Bolton (forgot!) and had to fit them in.
Jacobs and Pick 13 for Stevens
Misiti/Henneman/McGrath/Late pick for Allan

Yes I think you are.
Bolton and a draft pick would be enough for Allan IMHO.

Bolton on his own would be more than enough for Allan. You have to remember that he is on pretty close to minimum at Carlton and couldn't even get a game with them, plus he is leaving regardless, so Carltons bargaining power is minimal. If anything, it should be Bolton for Allan + pick.

Considering the wealth of draft picks available to them, looks like carlton might give us Allan + Pick 90 for bolts
Why I put in Ottens in my side, is if Richmond want Solomon so much let them give up one of their stars as well. We have to start playing hardball with some of these clubs who because they have not been successful in the past can poach any player they want to. And besides, I have not forgiven them for laying down in 2001 when they had to play Brisbane in the prelim final.

He started to show something in last year's finals series. But he hasn't really been able to capture that same form consistently throughout this year. The coaches have also thrown him around far too much in order to plug holes. I think that's also unsettled his game.
But at this stage, I think he's someone we may consider trading. It all depends what sort of deal we can get for him. It looks like we're going to have to make some room under the cap to sign up Solomon; I think we'd be much better off keeping Solomon and losing Bolton, rather than the other way around.
