Firstly, how do the Sun know that Stkilda are interested in Trent Croad? Do they ask the clubs involved?, the player? or managers?
Anyways I heard that the Saints want another tall to play CHB, freeing Kossie to play CHF and Riewoldt for the wing...pretty good setup if u ask me.
Croad to Stkilda for Heath Black and pick 24
It seems that the Saints are also interested in Nick Stevens, which makes sense because stkilda only used 92% of the salary cap so they have plenty of room to fit him in...dunno if we have the money tho.
Possible saints lineup for 2004:
FB: Hudghton Penny Voss
HB: Jones Croad Fisher
C: Dal Santo Harvey Riewoldt
HF: Montagna Kossie Hamill
FF: Milne Gehrig Clarke
R: (Will be finalised after trade period) Hayes Powell
i/c: Baker Blake etc....

If Rawlings ends up at Melbourne i'm pretty sure Geelong will do everything in it's power to get Trent Croad.

Consider it done.
In all honesty, I can't see us getting much more than a second round pick + fringe player for Croad, and unless Geelong offer Bartel or Melbourne offer Armstrong, we'd take that deal from St Kilda without much thought.

I agree Black or Bartel + 2nd round pick will do, where can I sign.

We'd be paying way over the market price for a guy who's rumoured to be earning in excess of $500k next year.
Straight swap, especially if we're taking all of his contract.

I agree.
These three clubs will be clamouring all over Croad.
They all have far more to offer than St Kilda, I'm sure they could top the Heath Black offer and would all be willing to pay out his contract in full, unlike us.
