Since I don't really know enough about 90s music to answer the one about the 90s I'll start this thread. After all the 80s was the decade when all the good music happened.;)
1. Thriller - Michael Jackson
2. Born in the USA - Bruce Springsteen
3. She's so Unusual - Cyndi Lauper
4. Revenge - Eurythmics
5. Purple Rain - Prince
Pills n Thrills n Bellyaches - Happy Mondays

Back In Black- AC/DC

Just off the top of my head:
1. The The - Infected
2. Frankie Goes To Hollywood - Welcome to the Pleasuredome
3. Severed Heads - Since the Accident
4. Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark - Dazzle Ships
5. Adam and the Ants - Kings of the Wild Frontier
I'd chuck in Hunters and Collectors - The Jaws Of Life, but I don't know which of the above I'd displace for it.
1. Carl Wilson - Carl Wilson
2. Youngblood - Carl Wilson
3. Thriller - Michael Jackson
4. The Beach Boys - The Beach Boys
5. Tug Of War - Paul McCartney
I realise that no one would have heard either of Carl Wilson's solo albums, and I've only heard them in the last few years, but if you appreciate smooth vocals, it's well worth doing a quick search on Kazaa.

I can't understand why people rate Disintegration so highly.
I just found that album very dull.
To my mind, the Cure lost it after "Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me".

I also really like Fisherman's Blues (an early 90s/late 80s album) by the Waterboys. There was an album of unreleased stuff from those sessions I think - might have included stuff from this is the Sea. Both great albums.
