Thanks to Blistering.com, and FLAW.COM for the following information.
P.O.D are releasing their latest album 'Playable On Death' very early in November (but does anyone really care??), and the first million copies will come with something extra; a bonus disc that will contain a version of the Playstation 2 game Amplitude, which allows users to recreate the song using its individual tracks. Using the controller, players can freestyle and scratch on top of the music, and mix the song in a number of different ways. Pretty unique idea I reckon.
Slipknot will be releasing their follow up to IOWA early 2004, and it is said to be an ABSOLUTE KILLER. They are planning to record over 20 songs, so maybe a double disc album?? They'll be touring for a year after the release, and plan on going about their side projects after that, but who knows. You can bet your life that I will stop at nothing to get that CD is in my player.
Flaw are releasing their second full length album to follow up their 2001 album 'Through The Eyes.' It is expected to hit stores in January 2004, and will no doubt be yet another CD to find itself into my sound system.
Iced Earth plan on releasing their ninth full-length album 'The Glorious Burden' late January 2004 through SPV Records.
The new Static-X album 'Shadow Zone' will be in stores within the next week, and believe me, i'll be getting a hold of that.
With a new frontman, SCAR CULTURE plan to have their new album ready for a mid-2004 release. Never heard of these boys, but they're supposed to be pretty hardcore. Might have to check them out.
