From a choker's point of view, happy to get Schammer for Stevens, not particularly happy to give Stevens to Collingwood but Eddie would probably have Stevens killed if he goes anywhere else - there's an idea...hmm

is that trade fair?

If you're referring to Schammer for Stevens then I say yes. We don't need salary-cap-filling 25yo players. Schammer has shown enough for me to say yes considering he is the equal youngest player in the AFL, although we could probably get more if we tried
Unfair on Freo. How players go after knee recos is entirely unpredictable. In any case, Collingwood won't trade Lockyer.

I meant - do all teams come out of this trade satisfied?
i personally think this trade can happen.

it could work but there will need to be draft picks thrown around to even it up a little.
Collingwood is getting a steal if all they have to do is trade a bloke who hasnt played all year will a dodgy knee for stevens.
Port wanted to first round picks, so collingwood will have to do sumthing more.

To get quality you have to trade quality… and as hard it’s for me as a Collingwood supporter to bring Lockyer’s name up in this trade… its something Collingwood have to do… I just can’t see any other way to get Nick Stevens
PS – I guarantee T Lockyer is raring to go next year… he has great foot skills, calm under pressure… a true leader, works so hard and still young…. I still can’t believe I’m actually thinking of trading Lockyer…
i think there are going to be alot of Collingwood supporters, wanting to kill me after reading this trade...

But 12 months ago, Stevens was struggling and Lockyer was one of the best midfielders in the competition. It could be the same in 12 months from now. I hate Collingwood with a passion and they appear to be the one club who can't lose from this trade

Hahaha.
There is no way we will be trading Byron. Especially not for bloke with a dicky knee, who's trade value wouldn't be comparable to Schammer's even if he hadn't torn the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee.

Although its not a bad trade, I'd rather keep Lockyer. He is important to the Pies both as a leader and midfielder / small forward
Schammer is future star. Why didn't he play in the final?

Gee let me think. The youngest and close to the most physically under developed player in the AFL in a final with Essendon who are known for there targeting of players.
Schammer will be a very good player. Worth more than Lockyer after a knee recon.
tarkyns not goin anywhere!!!
