Australian and British indie music with a bit of US indie thrown in for good measure.:)
Classical and jazz. Real music.
Adult Themes For Voice by Mike Patton in full.

Nothing but King Crimson for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Just kidding.
I would probably bring back album-oriented rock. I like hearing songs by familiar bands that aren't necessarily hit singles and aren't found on the Greatest Hits compilations.
Tony Barber's christmas album on 24hr rotation.
A 3 hour, non-advert interrupted set starting off with an hour of deep dark progressive house before moving onto some nu-skool breaks.

This may come across as a little violent, but the sounds of the Australian Idol finalists being clubbed to submission with either, classical music, some Drum 'n' Bass or something fairly innocuous in the background, so as to not detract from the beatings...
This would be followed by the "Andrew Bolt" hour, where politically-left-music would be interspersed with the rantings of the above mentioned journalist...like a one-hour sampling session.

Pretty much what Macca said, some downtempo chilled sounds leading into some nu skool breaks and perhaps a bit of melodic prog on the arse end.
Blondie, DEVO, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Kate Bush and Heart. For the most part, 70's "Alternative".
Nothing other than Heavy Metal and Hard Rock

Some hardcore trance.
I'd mostly want to play Beach Boys music and stuff from the same era, and open up the phone lines and let people choose which songs they wanted to hear, and if they wanted a song repeated a few times, it'd happen. :D
See 'Music' thread for my fave bands.
As with Gphonque, if I had to do it on commercial radio, I'd kill myself.
Gimme RRR and PBS anyday.
I'd play anything but dance.
Mahavishnu Orchestra-yeah that would scare the natives.

Make it aggressive, but no Limp Bizkit or Linkin Park. Middle-class kiddie angst just don't cut it no more...

Who sings that ?
Or is this what we'd be hearing as a subliminal message if you played a Judas Priest record in reverse ?
