2pac......at least he had the decency to die and leave us be. Now if only his record label would stop finding unreleased out-takes.

If you want a serious answer, Tupac, by so much it's not funny.
'Snoop' is just embarassing. Dre has done more than anyone to destroy rap and hip hop's name. He isn't a bad producer though.
Eminem understands rythym and placement better than most, but will always be seen as a gimmick.
Tupac, although his stuff turned to ****, had made some great tunes, and is easily the best.
He is the Kurt Cobain figurehead for today's wiggas, even though they criminally misinterpret him.
Thankyou, manutd/dogs. Hardly have any time for the aforementioned "rappers". Chuck D on the other hand...

Eminem. Gimmick, shmimmick, he's still more interesting to hear than the rest of those cliche-laden ****ers.
Are these all Rappers?? If so, the Deborah Harry is better than all of them.
2pac, as he is dead. If only the rest would follow.

dre then eminem then snoop then 2pac

I think you'll find Puff Daddy/P.Diddy/Sean "Puffy" Combs has ben the one to screw rap over, with Dre coming in to kick the corpse only once the sodomy was done with. Just about all of the "rappers" involved with Puff Daddy can't even speak much less enunciate enough to rap. Mumbling over some boring ar$e ripped track is not my idea of being a lyrical gangsta.
I blame white people. We embraced it too much and let predators like Puff Daddy come in and slaughter it to make money off us dumb crackers.
As for the question, they are all a sad indictment of what "rap" has become.

Agree 100% I didn't consider Puff important enough to mention. I still think that Tupac could have been something if he didn't go to jail. Once he was beholden to DeathRow, it was inevitable that his stuff would turn to ****.

2pac whilst at death row was the best, and that was thanks mainly to dre. snoop also in his early years was brilliant. dre should rap more and forget producing and all these damn movies. eminem is just crap.
if you wanna know who is better then them all....ice cube, by a mile!!
2Pac, Dre, Snoop, then the little b*tch (eminem).
I don't think anyone can compare to the lyrics of Tupac

WHILST this ain't my favourite genre, 2 pac is the better of those, but they all get away with song sampling, etc....
I recall that a certain artist after the breakup of his band was sued and dragged into a brutal court case which lasted 14 years off and on in which he was found guilty of subconsiciously plaguirsing a song.
That is not stealing and if you listen to He's So Fine and compare it to My Sweet Lord they are 2 completely different songs about different things, etc.....
Yes Puffy is ****e, but he did produce Biggie and Biggie revived the east coast. Y'all forgetting the mic god rakim, he influenced them all.

Ice Cube (with Dre I guess), and Ice T **** all over those clowns.

Dude, it's not as if the others came from the thug life backgrounds that they claim. If anything, Tupac's earlier careers actually give creedence to the theory that he had more substance about him.
Good point up there ^ about Rakim by err... Rakim, he and others actually laid the groundwork for guys like the ones mentioned here, unfortuntely the majority have turned the music into an industry.

Really???!!!;)
At least when I listened to NWA for the first time, I 'believed' some of it, even though it was primarily eazy-e that was the only one with a dubious background.
Just never liked Tupac myself I guess. Maybe I missed the point.
Anyway, what do I care, I don't even like rap much! haha
