Despite my misguided comments over St.Kilda stuffing up young players, I would like to think the Saints are good things next year, perhaps Top 4 if luck goes their way.
I'm still a little bitter at Hamill, but that's life, and Carlton has moved on (not sure that certain Blues fans however)
Despite watching you guys flog as at Optus Oval this year, I did actually enjoy watching Rob Harvey going as well as ever, and Xavier Clarke is well exhilirating to watch (cut off my right arm to have X-Man at Carlton)
You guys have probably put up with so much crap for so many years (that we at Carlton are just getting used to )
and you did beat Collingwood in a grand final ...
So I wish you guys all the best next year.

You blokes have got alot of catching up to do.

Seriously, I think top 4 is still a few years away yet. Anything less than a finals berth next season would be a failure though. Provided we can keep most of our players on the park for the year we should be competitive enough to make the finals. One can only hope hey!!

Aslong as Thomas is coaching the club, Saints will never amount to anything sadly. Thomas could coach the All Australian side and still lose... Get a new coach and Saints will be a force, now and in years to come.

Well ...
I guess you have to make the finals first, then reassess your goals.
St.Kilda probably shouldn't try and take the attitude of Fremantle, who were simply rapt to make the finals, then got bundled out without a whimper in the first week.
Hopefully Rob Harvey can have another wonderful season and Lenny Hayes continue his rise up the ranks and the young kids to keep developing and barring injuries, there should be no problem in you guys winning enough games for the finals.

Wow, an unusually generous of spirit Bluebagger.

Thanks for the support, bogan_blue. Looking forward to the match up at Optus again this year. I hope Carlton can rebuild and get back on the right track in a few years.
