Does Daniel Motlop want to leave North Melbourne because his brother Shannon has been told by North that he is going to be traded… and Daniel knowing this says to himself – “If my brother is going to be traded I want to be traded with him" - as a package maybe to Port Adelaide?

this is one of many questions in this whole daniel motlop saga that remains unanswered. hopefully more facts start to be revealed in the coming week when the boys get back from mexico.
Shane Harvey you little pansy.
I don't particularly mind when first round picks don't turn out as good as we'd have hoped (Bolton) but when a guy has the talent, and has shown he can turn it on at the AFL, but doesn't want to... Disgraceful.

Daniel may not be happy with the Roos regarding his brothers possible trade, and he is still very young between the ears. Therefore he may be swayed by those close to him.
He is good mates with the Burgoyne's and they may have convinced him into going to Port. Michael Long is also a family friend and that is why Essendon have also been mentioned as a possible destination.

According to Tim Harrington (3AW), DMotlop is worried about his partner looking after their baby on her own - as there are no family members in Melbourne to support her and he has footy obligations..
Go Roos
They have told him to gather his thoughts and they will speak tommorow.

How does that explain him looking at other Melbourne based clubs?

Pretty sure Essendon and St Kilda were just clubs that had shown interest, not the other way 'round.

anyone know when he's due to make a decision
if he decides he's going, the roos may as well get a good deal
maybe guerra and a draft pick from port
or
shane harvey and a draft pick from the bombers
GO THE ROOS:D
