Maybe Channel Nien or Ten should televise the trade period live with interactive sessions where fans get to say if it's a good deal or a bad deal or whether we should take it or not.

That sounds like a good idea would rate fairly well I think..........or it could be named "who wants to be traded by a millionaire?"

So live tv. from say, 10 am - 6pm, every day this week, watching nothing, just mooted trades, by journos.... yep, great tv, should rock the ratings. In a word boring. Fox footy has got a program on friday night, where they do this in an hour show...

Great. An hour a week where only subscribers to Pay TV get to see it.

So you would advocate a user pays system where only those that could afford to 'pay to vote' would get a say on who goes where.

Why should fans have a say in who gets traded?

What do you think this is? Big Brother?

But wouldn't opposition fans deliberately vote to jeopardise other clubs?

Turned out to be a bad deal but were many people complaining at the time? Eagleton was expected to be a star

The first thing that came into my mind was that if Eagleton was going to be such a star why was Williams looking at trading him especially since he didn't want to leave? I knew we were going to be ripped off and we were.
