Gees if you were on the board of the Adelaide staff at the moment youd be doing everything in your power to woo Michael to the crows.... he is exactly what you need especially after seeing how Perrie had to play on lynch in the Semi final at the Gabba.
GIVE UP SOMETHING GOOD TO GET SOMETHING GOOD IN RETURN.
This is the time to stop pi** Farting around Ayres and get real !! dont go for quick fix players like Carey , Torney (although isnt too bad) and Burns.
Get MAL MICHAEL to help out the defence.
As denis pagan said , you need a gorilla to play on a gorilla wasnt it?

Lynch is probably the only guy who has been able to make our defence look silly in the last 2 seasons. He has done the same to the defence of many other teams.
Should we be recruiting a player specifically to play against Lynch, who may not even play next season, or at most play one more year?
Either way I'm sure he'd fit in very well.

Smarts last season. Bassett aint that good. Hart is great but not overly big. McGregor is no champion. who else does that leave? Id say you need a key position defender fast.

Either way I'm sure he'd fit in very well. Let me see, Tredrea, Richardson, Neitz and even Gehrig have had field days against us in the past.
Most pressing need by far in a strong key defende who can play on those blokes and Mal Michael is a perfect fit.
Second on the list of priorities is a good ruckman with ability to take marks around the ground

Considering Mal Michael has just won his third premiership as the same club, I seriously doubt that he would even contemplate moving to Adelaide.
I know he's a great player and one of the best defenders today but in reality, there's hardly a chance that he's coming to the Crows.
Disappointing, but true.
