Purely hypothetical here, no bull****.
We were just discussing this over at Outkast (www.outkastforums.tk), and this idea came up.
Is quite sensible, and both clubs shall benefit. Only sticking point would be whether or not Solomon would go to Sth Australia.
Your thoughts, gentlemen?....and ladies too, I spose. :D

as opposed to whether Goodwin would go to Victoria! :rolleyes:
I would think that Goody is on considerably less than the $400K that Solly is after.
It's all academic anyway, the Crows have told Goodwin he will not be traded despite interest from other clubs

like in previous years he was like crows best player i doubt they would trade him besides if he insisted he left or salary cap restrictions
I admire Solomon's ability and I like the way he goes about his footy, but we don't need him.
I'm not adverse to trading Goodwin, but it would need to be for something that we need (draft pick, around the ground ruckman, KKP) and who will improve the side.

No disrespect to the quality of Solomon but if that deal occured the crows get rooted imo. Goodwin is def a more damaging player.
So Adelaide remove a vital cog in their midfield to get an overpaid mediocre player who would struggle to make our best 22.

It's not at all sensible. Essendon benefits. Adelaide gets ripped off.
As much as id kill to have goodwin, i doubt adelaide would be stupid enough to pull the trigger on that trade.
