and you could take one, who would it be and why ?

Hell, there's been a lot of fictitious tripe posted on this forum about who is going where at the end of this week, so why not fantasise a little more ? ;)

Adam Goodes, Matthew Pavlich, Jonathon Brown, Chris Judd or Nick Riewoldt.

Aker - not sure, for team cohesion reasons
Keating - too injury prone and if your team wasn't playing in the GF then you wouldn't see him for any other game during the year!
Brown - absolutely ! Would certainly be up there. 3 flags, courage, skill, good build. Really does remind me of Wayne 10 years ago....

Ok, I'll change it to one of Simon Black; Jonathon Brown; Adam Goodes.

Fair enough.

For pure consistency, leadership, skill, versatility and presence, it's hard to split Goodes and Pavlich I reckon.

Judd - When he's hot he's hard to beat, but he has gone missing in a few games. Likewise for Riewoldt.

Pavlich
Goodes
Judd
Riewoldt
Brown

The best Under 24/25 in the league I reckon.

Voss, Buckley, Hird, etc... are a bit too old.

so you wouldn't take them, or they'd be down the list a bit?

i think the general consencious is pavlich?

him, goodes and brown would be the best spine ever

throw in judd and black in the midfield

Ben Hart ? surely he is past it at his age ?
Treadrea ? This guys is yet to prove himself...sure, he played a big hand in getting his team to the finals, but he hasn't done enough when it counted, apart from his final against the Dons this year...

two all australian centre half forward positions aint enough?

with brown, rocca and Hall out there?

Ben Hart: He's only about 30, has a couple of good years in him, always does a job in the defensive half, WE NEED TALL BACKS and he can play tall as well as small. Sure he's been around forever, but he is still better than some hacks.

he reminds me of clement two similar players with similar height and build

1. Riewoldt - everyday of the week.
2. Riewoldt
3. see point 1.
4. Cris Judd
5. Brown
6. Chris Tarrant
7. Pavlich

Riewoldt and Tarrant take a shed load of contested marks, no other skill is as highly prized, or difficult to come by.

On that reasoning, how do you put Judd ahead of Brown ?

The same way I put judd above tarrant.
it's a footnote that's all.

I'd definately take them, but after the first 5, purely because of age.
