I haven't heard that, but we do need a CHF. Johns is a very promising youngster, but he does have a chronic hip injury and so it is rather unknown how he will cope at the senior level.

Didnt think much of Courtney at Easts other than that he has a good grab.

He turned it on in the VFL this year. He'd come on for a half, take ten marks and kick a small bag. He was very impressive. A monster on the lead and a booming kick.

Played some good footy in the VFL...His hip is nearly 100% and he doesnt mind throwing his weight around which is just what we need

Good....best news I've heard so far! Solomon is not worth that much money. Looks like Richmond will have aided him in gaining a decent payrise though. :D

Solly is pretty much screwed in terms of this negotiation now.
He may get more money, but his decision, whatever it is aint going to help his footy.
You can keep him Essendon.
He is not worth 1.6, nor pick 6.

spot on - it's been a nice bit of behid the scenes work by his manage to ensure that Solly gats the most he caan out of the Bombers, and the Tigers ghave been taken along for the ride by Soly's manager.
Let me just add thatSheedy is a total knob, If Soly did want to go to the Tigers, why shouldn't he be allowed to. Short memory Sheeds, you were offering 2 players for Hall in the last trade period - my how things change when someone is after one of yours.

do you really think the best offers come out on day 1? Get real and play the game, you start small and build up - who knows along the way some dopey club might accept an offer and you pick up a bargain. Wait until Thursday before the real talent is offered.
