Just want to get everyone's opinion on who the other player could possibly be?

I don't think Fiora is going anywhere. How about Pettifer? Perhaps a new setting and a different coach may bring out the best in him. Afterall he is a #3 overall pick and the Dockers would have selected him ahead of Pavlich had Richmond not beaten them to the punch by all reports.

believe pettifer was a number 8 selection in a different draft than the pavlich one. fiora was taken before pavlich in that draft, sure fremantle are happy they had the pick after richmond if that is the case.

i would be really dissapointed if melbourne gave richmond pick 20 unless along with holland came along another reasonable player as is being discussed... richmond really have no choice in the matter with holland... he's a player they no longer want, he costs a bucketload... if they don't find a suitable trade then they have to pay him out and let him enter the draft, when i would say we are a reasonable chance of picking him up anyhow... i just hope melbourne call richmond's bluff, the footy department are spineless if they give into richmond...

it'll be either pettifer or hilton, bowden won't go unless it's for a big fish, otherwise the deal will either a)fall through or b)be holland for forth rounder(as melbourne are using 3rd for father-son)

Personnally i think hilton will be of use to melbourne, but pettifer would just be an outside player in a team of outsiders.

For what its worth i think holland is worth pick 20. He is only 25 so he has a good 5 or 6 seasons left in him. He is also a KP player who can play either end which bumps his value up a bit. Another positive is nearly half of his contract is going to be payed by the Tigers. Two years ago he was flying but the knee injury has ruined his last two seasons. He seems to be over that now and with a full pre-season he should come back well. He could be a very astute buy by the Dees. A 4th round pick is an absolute steal as not many 4th round kids in poor drafts go on to play 5 or 6 seasons at CHF.

Looks more and more likely that Melbourne will give pick 20 for just Holland....with Richmond picking up some of his salary....Melbourne are very keen on Holland, and it looks like they are keen enough that richmond will get pick 20....they want to give their third round pick, but thats already going to be used, and Richmond dont wanna get a 4th Round for Holland
