So who'd win? Skeletor or Megatron?

Geez, thats a tough one. Is Soundwave there ready to use Megatron as a gun?

Hmmm, where's it being played?

Eternia and Snake Mountain gives Skeletor a decisive edge but if the battle takes place on Cybertron, well, it would be an easy Megatron victory. ;)

The mighty Megatron easily ;), although Grimlock would cream them all.

Remember that Megatron always has Unicron (as voiced by Orson Welles) to help him out !!!!

Zeke

Optimum Prime and his trusty team of Auotbots would show up and cream them all.

Megatron. He managed to fight Optimus Prime to the death.
Skeletor never did anything other than inconvenience He-Man.

Soundwave would have pwned Blaster. He had all the cool cassettes - Ravage, Rumble and Laserbeak.

Shredder would rock up and kung-fu all their butts off the planet :)

As we speak, I have a little Ravage toy sitting on my desk covered in scratches from too much mid 80's play. And his holographic sticker has worn off.

Surely I could get $200 on ebay for him.

I sold 2 of Starscreams missiles on ebay for $37 if I remember right - seriously little bits of gray plastic about 5cm long.

Bizarre.

Onto the Challenge at hand, it'd be tight but I'd say Megatron as he could probably just stand on Skeletor.

And yeah, Megatron actually managed to beat his foe - Skeletor was just a chronic pest like that nut who invades sporting events (you know the one I mean).

Shredder vs Skeletore would be interesting though.

Skeletor's only advantage was that he wields some amout of mystic power. I think he also has magical weapons - a staff, amulet. Without em he is stuffed.

Outside of the Matrix and Unicron, Transformers dont have much mystical power. If Skeletor could contain Megatron he might be Ok. I say might because Skeletor does not kill and Megatron is insane.

Megatron will take on anything. His will power is quite incredible, his physical size, strength and raw power is awesome. And he can fly so he is a hard target. he could easily keep Skeletor off balance or just incenerate him.

I also did some channel surfing the other morning while watching the news and saw the current Transformers cartoon on 10.

it was awful!! I dont know how it is popular! It totally lacked the great energy, characters and storylines of the 80's series. It wasnt fun or compelling. I dont know how you could get TF wrong.

Also, Soundwave had the power of abject cowardice on his side.

He was a great Yes Man the ol Soundwave! He'd fall into line behind who ever was leading the Decepticons pretty quick smart.

I have it, and it is so worth it.
Some really cool features, like Transformers toy ads from the 80's.

A great dvd

I rented it at a sci fi video shop in town a few weeks ago. It comes up really well on DVD, still a great movie.

Special features mainly consist of profiles of the charcters, voice actors (Nimoy, Wells, Idle, Roberts Stack from Unsolved Mysteries was Ultra Magnus) and musicians from the soundtrack. TV adds for the movie from 86 are average.

Haha, the ads are hilarious, especially the little kid with the cheesy grin. I've also got Season 1 and 2 on DVD, and they bring back great memories.

A mate of mine has it, and says it is great - apart from the numerous "celebrity" voices there is also a great 80's glam rock soundtrack.

I love it. A soundtrack provided by the mighty **** rockers 'LION'!

If I remember correctly a Weird Al song was used for the Dinobots. Dare To Be Stupid I think.
