View Full Version : Did I miss anything on the footy show last night?
I was out during the show and didn't get to see any of it. Did I miss anything much? What was the main issues of the night? How was street talk? Did Sam have a go at Eddie every time he talked about Collingwood? And was Billy pissed as he was spinning the wheel?

Didn't miss much.Eddie crapped on about Collingwood :rolleyes: and Sam kept interupting everyone.
Hopefully someone will knock his block off one day for not shuting up.

Not much. I thought Wayne Carey was good on the panel though.
What an absolute shocker of a show it was last night.
McGuire and Carey were good, the cross to the St.Kilda function was good, but the rest of the show was shocking.
Newman DID constantly interrupt and was as patronising and condescending as always. Matthew Richardson is even more of a bore than Buckley, and talked about himself a lot. Marmalade and Manton tried plenty of jokes which went down like lead balloons, and Manton's highlight was a speech about role models, which was one of those rehearsed-to-look-spontaneous speeches.
Brownless was sent to a netball club. Self-deprecating humour can be funny, but not so much when you involve the person standing next to you, on national television.

The only highlight of the show was once again Mantons and Marmalades humor. Glen Mantons joke about Collingwood vs Collingwood was hilarious :) Gotta love Mantons humor. What about the sicko chick on street talk with more leg hair than me ...
EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW ... and Sam ACTUALLY shaved it!!!!!

After a deep and indepth probing with my new hubby :D I do believe the Footy Show is having a best of show for the first 8 years of the show on Thursday 5th March, with the regular episodes airing March 12th. Hope this helps. :)

Maybe there's a 'Best of' next thursday (7th March), but it's been advertised to start on the 14th of March.

Yeah and it's good that there's oppurtunities like that out there for fat ugly stupid guys as well as model types! And how bout that half naked jockey...ewwww and that small hairy dark guy with the jewellery..yek.
I am getting bored with the Eddie show but I don't think Ch7 is going to bother showing talking footee or Rex or Just AFL so all we have is the FS...if we get that.:mad:
