According to the Doggies' board, Luke Power came to terms with Brisbane today. As I'm stuck at university trying to complete a damn thesis, I haven't heard any other news about this - could someone confirm or deny this rumour?
If he has re-signed... SWEET!!!

Have just heard in the closing minute of 'sports tonight' on 4BC (Bris version of 3AW) that Lappin has agreed to terms for new contract, and also that despite higher dollar offers from down south Power is expected to agree to terms in extremely near future.
I hope the reports are correct!

Yeah, me too.
The thing that's given me a lot of hope is that this Ron Josephs guy who manages Power, Lappin, Michael (and a few others) was quoted in the press a week or so ago as saying that he thought it was "unlikely" that ANY of them would end up anywhere but at the Lions next season.
Fingers crossed.
With the club party line of 'not commenting on contract negotiations/details' it means that unless the player comes out and releases their own statment, or their manager releases an official statement, we really can't be sure of anything except be sure that the club won't be issuing a statement about it!

We really need all three to sign. I won't be happy until I hear that Mal is committed.
