I see a lot of people here wearing NHL jumpers. I'm curious - where do they get them? Do they get them around here or do they get them overseas?
I didn't bring mine with me and was looking around for some...mainly a Flyers 3rd to go with the orange one I left behind.
I'm not surprised that NHL jumpers are hard to find here, but I am surprised how many of them I see being worn despite this.
Stealth,
Basiclly, people here couldn't give a rats ass about ice hockey itself (it gets virtually no coverage and it isn't played here in any real capacity), but like most things from the USA they have become a bit of a fashion statement. You should be able to find them in the sporting department of most big deprtment stores.
Well actually, I like like Ice Hockey, I reakon its wicked and have gone to watch a few games and seen some on video aswell.
But i dont know where u would get those hockey shirts from. Sorry!

Stealth, I started a thread on hockey a while back and got a few nibbles. I saw plenty of hockey jerseys at the Melb markets last time I was there.
It's playoff time and the Wings are looking good again, pity about your Flyers though. My prediction is they will lose in the second round, and my predictions are always right. ;)

If they play Jersey in the second round, then I have no reason to question that prediction.
It won't be 7 games this time either. The whole team except for Cechmanek is slumping. They had several chances to improve themselves at the trade deadline and they didn't. As long as their fourth line is the only one that is scoring, they're stuffed.
As much as I hate them, I think Jersey is probably still the team to beat.
Hey people if you don't know you can get NHL guernseys at vic market. there the povvo ones so you'll get bagged.
