I hope Possum too stays, mainly cause he wants to stay aswell, thats something us Lions supporters dont hear all that much, considering hes a stawell boy, he has only had one bad year which was mainly due to injury, he came second in the most improved award a yr ago, and if anything, is similar to whitey, so we could start honing him to take over his role.

Its a pity the "Lynch Is A Mongrel Demanding More Money" posts outweigh the "congrats to Mal, Lukey, Lapps and Braddy for coming to terms and staying put" posts.

I agree Adey, I was sure we'd lose at least one of those 4.
I really feel for Pikey. I get the impression he's not on much more than minimum wages, yet has been invaluable over the past 3 years.
If Copeland gets treated the same way, then why do we even bother to cultivate local talents and fixit players like Pike and Copeland, only to screw them. Not saying that we are, but that we might be.

there's no that element of panic surrounding Pikey and Bushy not being signed as yet.... my guess is that the deals will be sorted out quickly once we've finalised one more delisting/trade (maybe Notting) that would officially free up the necessary cashola so they can be officially signed on for next year.

Good to see those boys back next year. All we need to hear now is if a certain blonde headed bloke has put pen to paper and re-signed for next season and things will be rosey.
