Are Richmond placing too much time on trying to get the big fish and not trying to gain the little wins?

As much as it hurts to say this, but Collingwood has done really well over the past couple of years trying to get under-performing talent at cheap prices... and its worked (ie. Clement, Woewoedin, Holland, etc.)

I wouldve thought we may had a little more interest elsewhere with blokes like:

- Guerra
- Koops
- Black
- Bode

I think we need turnover from our playing group... and not just the delistings. Blokes like Bowden, Fiora, Hilton, etc may benefit from new homes. They may not be worth much but l think its the healthy turnover we need - so what if they go well at other clubs, good luck to them.

So far all we have heard is that Holland is definately going and maybe Hall. That's it? Pretty poor i think.

I think after a few years of under-performing players from others clubs such as Houlihan, King, Biddiscombe, Hudson, Hilton etc, the club has felt a tad on the burnt side of things and hence have cast the net for some big fish.

After the success of Kane Johnston their confidence must be up.

Personally I still recall the big name flops of decades past that have come to our club on the big dollars and still wince at the thought.

I'm happy for Brown to prove me wrong, but I'd still prefer a draft choice that could deliver us another Coughlan, rather than a Terry Wallace (for those that remember that debacle).
