Positives of him going 'Tiger'
I don't remember seeing him play.
Anyone help...where will he play?...why is he rated so high? Why is he worth the equivalent of two good kids in the draft?
Is he like Voss? Campbell? Johnson? Mcleod ? hasleby? Coughlan ?
help?
Negatives of him getting on board.
Bye bye our next two good kids...and he's 25 years old isn't he? Any others?
Help?
ta !:)

Gun midfielder that plays at full forward.....i think would be handy in delivering the ball to Richo (unlike half the duds that kick it over his head). I recommend watching the Bulldogs vs Richmond 2001, the second time when he kicked 5 or so goals...or the WCE game this year when he kicked 7 with a busted shoulder.
I think you'll find that if things go the way Richmond want them to, it will only cost them Ben Holland and pick 6 (holland to melbourne for pick 20 and 6 and 20(or 21) to the dogs)
Negatives are that he is another small and not a tall playing full forward...think Richmond will rotate him in the midfield though

Has kicked more than 50 goals last 2 years.
Good on the lead.
Can hold his own in a marking contest.
Can set up play & goals.
only negative : inacurate

Hes not that bad a kick.....although this year he seemed to have trouble kicking goals.....just what Richmond need....another RICHO kicking for goal lol...seems to be able to kick the freak goal though...and can kick with both feet reasonably well.....i must say, better him than trying to get Phil Matera like they were trying to do at one stage

Lazy and disinterested.........sounds a bit like Joel Bowden! Can be guns and have the potential to be match winners....but get lazy....Miller and Brittain should fire rockets up their arses to get em going......cos Frawley is to "nice" to tell them what he thinks

Only when he was playing for a club he didn't want to be at. Has been like that all year and not upset that he has left us, it's been a long time coming. ;)

Close to 100 hundred shots on goal this season which is a huge effort in the side that finished last, even more remarkable when you consider the guy isn't a KPP and won't drag down many contested marks.

The good thing about Brown is at Richmond he wouldnt be the main forward so he would probably have the second or third best defender on him. This also gives Rodan more of a chance in the midfield.
If we picked up Brown, #20 for Holland, #2 and #21 I would be happy.
Now that Ben Holland for pick #20 has been confirmed, if Brown does go for #6 and #21, that will in effect mean that we picked Brown up for #6 and Holland...
and therefore only losing one kid!
I would rather the trade be changed to Bowden and pick 21!

Brown is a reasonable outside midfielder and a great small forward. Question over his midfield role is that he doesnt have the 'burst mode' leg speed to the extent that he should have if he wants to be a great outside midfielder (ala McLeoud or Akermanis), although he is reported to be working on it.
Hence he can be _completely_ shutdown by a purely negative tagger in the midfield (cant escape on the burst, and cant out-muscle), but his value then is he can hide in the FP and probably still get 5 shots on goal from 5 touches.
I reckon he will compliment Coughlan and Johnson nicely, and of course wont be playing FF at richmond. He wont win you games in the midfield unless your other midfielders are already on top, but might win games off his own boot in the forward line.
