Holland ---> Melbourne, #20 ---> Richmond
Hall ---> Geelong, #6 + Street ---> WB, Brown ---> Richmond

Both done deals.

How many more trades do you expect Richmond to make on Friday and who do you think will be traded for who?

Cant wait for tomorrow to finish!!! GO Tigers!

Looks like we are after Morrison from the Lions to refill our tall stocks with Holland, Vardy and possibly Hall now gone.

There's still a question mark on Bowden. If the Club does that dumb deal on Brown we may try using Bowden and a pick to get back into the first round of the draft.

Mighty Tiges. what do you know in regards to us getting Morrison. So far all I've heard is forum speculation. Do you have anythign more concrete?

Just a gut feeling, do you think we might redraft or pick up McKee again. the ruck rule change looks like there might be a backflip & he might become valuable

Also had badly unjured is Ray Hall, is their something the club is not saying & such a desire to trade him?

Nah sorry I don't BA. I'm in the same boat. Just going on what I hear and read around the traps. We're 3 talls down compared to this year with Vardy, Holland and Hall gone. So we need a couple of more talls especially KP backmen.

He had a psoas muscle? (groin) injury which caused him to miss alot of footy this year. Don't know whether it's healed or not.

I believe Richmond will still be very active today and will hopefully start by chasing the following:
- Morrison
- Guerra

Might make a late play for
- Reid (don't ask me why)
- anyone else left stranded at the end where we can be opportunistic like we were last year

I also think something from leftfield may happen today. The only way we could trade into the 1st round is to give up Ottens or Bowden and a pick. Bowden and Ottens have just agreed to paycuts so I figure this would be unlikely.

All the same how's this for a HYPOTHETICAL scenario given the rumours about Ottens maybe wanting to go back to SA next year?

Once the Brown deal gets signed off, Richmond produce Brad Ottens and make a late play for Nick Stevens.

Don't agree with getting rid of Ottens but will tell you my reasoning as to why I think the club might:
- have being hearing rumours with regards to Ottens being unhappy at Punt Road
- long term Girlfriend in Adelaide and I mean LONG TERM! They met on School of the Air when he was still in NT!
- if there's a chick involved we've got no chance of making him see sense next year
- better to trade him whilst he is still under contract so that he can't screw the club. Also better to trade him now for Stevens than next year when Port/Crows mightn't have much to offer and play hardball.
- Alternatively wait and see what Port gets for Stevens (might be waiting a while though :p ) and do a Trade with Port involving a 1st round pick, Guerra etc.
- Alternatively, and this would be worst case, take Crows 1st round pick and a player etc.
- If Ottens was going to be floated Miller would have to sit on it till after the Brown trade or else doggies would demand Ottens and all **** would hit the fan.
- Stevens desire to become a Pie may prove a sticking point though.

Before I get bagged................remember just Hypothetical.

I'm burning the midnight oil and coming up with all sorts of conspiracy theries for today. Won't bore you with any of the others though, they involve Pies, Blues, Port or Hawks, Roos, Doggies....:D

look any educated person at richmond will say we do not want bowden we do no tneed him and he is a liability becuase he has no heart...he does have silky skills so i say trade him for a pick wherebey we can secure a good tall to bolster our ruck and backline and do not worry we will not sell otto he loves it there...maybe nick stevens will be in the picture somehwere

while its only hypothetical there would be no chance of us doing a deal involving a ruckman/fwd for a midfeilder considering we have given up 3 talls so far.
for ottens a top 3 pick and a player.

cheers!

today im hoping we land a 1st round pick im pretty confident miller has a few cards left up his sleeve.perhaps we can join in the deal involving stevens which would land us a 1st rnd pick.

cheers!
