YAY!!! About 15degs in Brisbane at the moment! Finally!! We seemed to have extended summer this year up here with 23 deg nights only 2 weeks ago! 3 Cheers for the cold weather! YAY!!
oh and commisserations to those melbournites who felt the cold yesterday, not belittling your 'feelings' at all - just enjoying a cool break up here!

Yeah - I dont mind the cooler weather either. Mid winter is cool (lituaraly!!). What do the rest of you think?

It's quite refreshing for me actually...where I come from it gets a lot colder than this.
Actually kind of amusing to watch everyone else bundle up while I'm still in a t-shirt.
Come to canberra everyone!

I LOVE the hot weather and loathe the cold. I was verrrrrrry happy with the weather at Easter - had a wonderful holiday!!! Wish the weather could be like that ALL year long!

Winter in Sydney is so goddam glorious that I urge youse all to come up for a weekend.
It is usually bright silvery sunshine, clear blue skies, around 20degrees all the time and no rain.
Spend Saturday surfing at Bondi or get out on the harbour - the fishing and sailing are world class.
Watch your team play the Swannies at the SCG on a glorious Sunday afternoon.
Let BSA buy you a beer on Oxford Street afterwards.
