JASON Gram barracked for St Kilda as a kid, idolising Tony Lockett. And his best mate Matthew Ferguson just happens to be down at Moorabbin as well.
Initially I was a little skeptical, giving up #23 for a young player that had only played a couple of games seemed to be a fair bit. This year we don't have the 1st or 2nd pick in the draft to rely on getting a Riewoldt/Koschitzke/Goddard/Ball. However we not only have a young player who is genuinely enthusiastic about joining the club, but is athletic and gives us another young midfield option.
I don't finish work till 8pm tomorrow and won't have access to my phone so like the rest of you I'll just be hoping that if there are any potential trades on offer, it has to be significantly weighted in our favour to be considered.
With people like Thommo and Brian Waldron at the helm, I don't think I have anything to worry about.
