In: #23
Out: Jason Gram

Overall

In: #23
Out: Jason Gram, Marcus Ashcroft (Retired) and Lynch (Pending)

However, you think we were good, check out Essendon.

Bulldogs traded Pick 6 to Hawthorn for Veale. Hawthorn weren't going to trade Rawlings to Bulldogs but the 2 clubs agreed that if Hawthorn got Pick 6 for Veale, Hawthorn wouldn't trade Rawlings. Rawlings was apparently close to the cats. So with that agreement, Rawlings can't go into the National Draft, but only the pre-season draft and Bulldogs will pick him up. Hawthorn then traded Pick 6 to Essendon for Jacobs. Essendon also got Alvey from Bulldogs.

In conclusion, this is Essendon.

IN:
Justin Murphy, Matthew Allan, Mark Alvey, draft pick 6

OUT:
Cory McGrath, Danny Jacobs, draft pick 60

So effectively for Jacobs, Essendon got pick 6 and Alvey. Essendon screwed 2 clubs around again just like they did to us and Fremantle last year.

But **** Essendon, we came out the best thus far from the trading period.

This is better than getting a pick in the top 10, we keep everyone together that we know of thus far. Bradshaw, Michael, Pike and Lynch still aern't signed up so we had better hope that Bradshaw and Michael agreed to new terms because we dont' want to lose them for nothing.

SpecialBruce, what happen to those two BIG names we were going to trade?

Your credability is now shot!

SB according to the Courier Mail the only ones left to sign are Pikey and Lynchy. One because no one knows where he is and the other who is considering retirement.

Overall pretty damn impressive list management.

Well, I must say I'm satisfied that we haven't lost any of our premiership talent to other clubs. I was fearful that Notting might go and there were a few other question marks as well. Is there any risk that some uncontracted players may nominate for the pre-season draft?

I also heard that Copeland is yet to sign up - is this because he's out "bush" somewhere still downing those Bundy and Cokes?

Has anyone heard about White and McRae? Are they going to go round another time? If so, then that's probably only one (Ashcroft) change to this years' team (I think Lynch and Pike will re-sign), so the Lions are a definite threat for the "foursome." It would be good to see some more kids have some time on the big stage though for '04 (eg Brennan, Hadley - permanent replacement for Ashcroft? -, Morrison, etc) - we need to develop these guys, because there will be more departures at the end of next season I'm sure.

Do you think I care? Especially from someone who has made 16 posts and who could be considered a troll? Think what you like it doesn't bother me that I was wrong.

..well I'm a bit of a mix between enjoying the speculation and ****ing in the wind over the past week and wanting to turn it all off until after 2pm Friday.

Overall, with the lack of anything else to read.....I must say thanks to everyone for the entertainment!!

It can work both ways actually, Mr Ripper.

My source told me, I posted it on Bigfooty. Therefore I made public something my source told me without giving out the players concerned. Therefore it could be considered I was wrong.

However, it can be considered that my source was wrong.

So in effect, it goes both ways.

If the words "Mr Ripper" are an OLS, that must make you an OLS.
