Pre-season Draft

Imagine how much different today would have been if the lottery procedures were still in place for the pre-season draft.

Can anyone tell me why the AFL did away with the concept?

Completely agree. Having the lottery would have stopped the Bulldogs and Hawks screwing over Rawlings the way they did.

Can't tell you why they got rid of it but I hope it comes back and soon.
