Now that Morrison has not found a new home the likely outcome will be, he will be de-listed (a la Craig Bolton) and Richmond will pick him up. We'll receive no recompense again. I am getting sick of losing players and not getting anything for them. Bolton, O'Brea. GEEES couldn’t we even get a fourth round pick for him.

Got a feeling they may pull the young fella aside and talk some sense into him.

Feel the time is ripe for a senior CHB role for the kid. Leppa struggled in 2003...half back flank may now be more appropriate.

Nah he will be delisted. There is no room for him. Not with Weller and Merrett and possibly McLaren. 4 years on the list. If he stays, I will be very very surprised.

Local league for him.

Morrison's a better player than Weller. Weller wouldn't have played those mid-season senior games had Morro not been out with a broken wrist.

Hahaha. That's crap and you know it. Weller was always going to be promoted if there was an injury to try him out.

There's a difference between Morrison and Weller.

Weller can play at senior level.
Morrison can't play at senior level.

You could argue that Morrison has been given less game time but that is because he can't hack elite level. He was and will always be a bench warmer. Also, he was only used when he needs to be whereas Weller when he played his first game, played 3 quarters.

Even if Weller and Morrison were both 100% fit, the club would have given Weller a chance to see what Weller can offer and that is 100% more than waht Morrison can.

Conclusion. Morrison won't be on the list next year. Shouldn't have survived last year IMO. Was very lucky.
