Firstly, I haven't been on-line since Thursday night, so I'm sorry if there's other posts that cover what I've talked about here.

Now, onto my thoughts. Friday, watching Channel 10 news, finding out about the "Veale deal". My first thought was excitement, thinking that during trading, we didn't pick up anyone shorter than 187cm. I'm a bit disappointed in losing Alvey, though.

If we get Rawlings, however, then it will go a way towards soothing that pain. Let's hope that Johnno, Murph and Bubba get in his ear about playing for us whilst he's playing with them in the International Rules series.

We'd better get pick 4 right. Cooney at number 1 is a lock, with with the talls we picked up, plus the addition of Rawlings, is it now going to be a major concern if we don't pick up Bradley at 4? Perhaps a Sylvia as a hard on-baller, if available, may now be a better option. Because we haven't got a pick until 50 after our first-rounders now, so we need to get those two right

I think the club has done the right thing, though, with trading aggressively to get Rawlings. I've got a mate that barracks for North (roo9699) that's fairly dirty with the way the Rawlings deal went down, but we're doing the right thing by the club. Now, we just have to secure him.

Feel free to respond/criticise as you see fit!!!

Interesting you mention the name Colin Sylvia... My friend from school plays in state level and all that kinda stuff (Matt Sharkey), and he said that he had to tag Sylvia once...

He told me Sylvia is a "tough c*nt" and give him a nice lil trademark to his ribs...

Sylvia for mine would be a great #4!! I'd love to see him eventually play beside Hahn
