just heard on channel 10 news that the saints have delisted 5, with steve lawrence one of them. just wondering who the other 4 would have been. maybe they included capuano and burke in that tally of 5, but that still leaves 2 more....
Steve Lawrence, Craig Callaghan, Ben Schwarze, Jordan Barham & Chris Oliver.
On 3AW they're saying that Callaghan will be re-drafted by the Saints in the National Draft.

Why have we delisted Jordan Barham from our rookie list?
He is a promising KPP and can possibly ruck. He performed well in the VFL last season.
I thought we were considering maybe upgrading him to the senior list. Will he possibly be one of our 3 selections in the national draft?

Agree with all delistings, dunno whether we need to re-draft Callahan, he's a cat. And how on earth Troy Schwarze is still on an AFL list is astounding. Brett Moyle??? For ***** sake, there is no way St.Kilda will win a premiership with Schwarze, Moyle, Wulf or Callahan on our list.

I'm pretty happy that we will re-draft Dirty Harry Callaghan. He'll be good insurance incase we get a few injuries. Was very good for us before his knee reco. The others had to go, no real surprises except for Barham. Oliver is the big disappointment, was named best on ground in the VFL v SANFL game a couple of years ago as a 20 yr old ruckman. If he couldn't get a game in the ruck for us last season he won't ever. Lawrence is problably the only chance of being picked up in the PSD by someone.

im really happy to hear callas will be kept. Hes a quality player, and given the time next year he will prove you all wrong. Schwarze was only kept cuz he has another year on his contract to run. Moyle is on his last chance, he was offered a one year deal to prove himself. And Wulf can be handy. You cannot have a full list of superstars.

Moyle will be in the top 3 of a Barker one day.
Shwarze, get rid of him. After that display against Tarrant earlier this year he should be castrated.
Wulf will kick a few goals over the next 7yrs.
Callahan will plug a few holes for two-three years.

I thought Oliver was meant to be one of the great ruck hopes

Go the Blues!
all fairly sensible delistings. Are the Saints going to pick up a ruck in either of the drafts. i reckon they should have made more of a play for Allan.
Pity GT ain't among them:D

Having watched Allan a few times for Carlton and the Bullants, we may as well as have kept Capuano if we had taken him. He may very well prove me wrong but he's not the same player as he was in 1999 and won't even get close to that sort of form. Just looked slow and awkward.
