WA elect to bat and are 0/21 after 5 overs. Langer and Campbell start well. SA need a wicket before these 2 get going.

Rofe has impressed me immenselly over the last 2 years, and even though i haven't seen him this week, he's figures have only reconfirmed to me that he is going to be one of the guys in SS/ING comp that will make the step to international level!
Campbell seems to be playing a subdued innings. Maybe even showing a bit of maturity. 39* off 59 with only 5x 4s.
It matters not - having him out there is good for WA.
Hundred up for WA in the 22nd over.
And then a wicket, dammit!
2/103 after 22
Campbell out for 42 caught behind off Johnson.

Another wicket! Rogers run out! Yes!!!!!!!!!!
WA 3/104
Great start by SA.
They chose a bad night to put a day/night domestic match on though. Clashing with the Test at Subiaco. As if domestic cricket crowds aren't suffering enough...
Cleary's been mentioned in some quaters as a future Australian player. Can some SA fans please tell us a bit about him?
Western Australia finished with 5/293.
Not too bad. Under 300 is decent enough. The WACA is usually a very good batting strip.
We're generally not a great chasing side, so I'm not terribly confident of winning this one at this stage. Our batting can be very brittle.
I don't think we're any chance of getting a bonus point, but the Warriors might be. If they keep us to 234 or less they get one. If they keep us to 146 or less they get two.

Davison hits 4 of the first ball then gets out of the 2nd. :( Blewett opens with him, Deitz at 3, SA 1/11 in the 6th over
Our start wasn't too bad with Deitz and Flower notching up half-centuries.
But as usual we've found a way to self destruct.
8/175 in the 38th over
We won't even save the bonus point.

Went to the game as I dont actually have a life. Cleary looked pretty good, was the tidiest of the west end team but the other bowlers looked a bit overawed by retravision.
ps I went to the pub at the interval and some how never managed to make it back to the game. thats what they get for selling mid strength.
