Rumour has it Vossy is retiring at the end of next year. Says "it is due to the pace of the game. I can't keep up with the youngsters anymore".

Doubtful although after the 3 flags, captaining all-australian team and winning brownlow there's not much else one man can achieve.

Lynch will retire for sure next year, Voss can them become a full time full-forward. That will prolong his career a few years, hopefully. A couple of devastating injuries a few years back must be taking their toll. Though Carey is still making an impact even though his fitness isn't up to it.

If Vossy EVER drops to the level Carey did this year, I'd rather he retire.

Carey bombed IMO. Was less than a shadow of his former self. Especially considering the reputed money he was on.

Vossy will need new knees once he's finished. Might as well keep playing and bugger them completely. Read choppers needs hip replacements.

Voss should play forward pocket/interchange bench IMO...he needs to be nursed through the H&A season, and kept fresh for finals football when we need him most.

Once Lynchy gets to his 300 and retires, Vossy will go to the square.

Oops, I wasn't supposed to give that away. :o

'can't keep up?'

not long ago in a final, he ran on in the last with an injury and tore the game open. He's an Ablett(G). Pure footballing beauty.

And you've Black too...
