(PS: Why are all the non-Richmond people bouncing around and saying we have a half-decent chance of knocking off the salary cap cheats?)
Sounds like a good idea....might be into that. Richmond family day thing at punt road that day too.
We could watch essendon supporters get faces painted and the Richmond players get lubed up before the game :) I don't think they should let the littlies into the ground that day. :)

I really don't know about that. Don't get me wrong, if the Tiges win I will be going off my collective trolley, and I know one or 2 others that will be joining me. However, Essendon ARE the powerhouse of the comp, as much as I hate to say it, they are just awesome to watch when they are on their game. No one likes the invincibles unless you barrack for them.
If the boys can get within 5 goals I think they are doing well. I doubt very much if Rogo will play though.

You honestly don't give us a chance of winning?
Hell, Carlton beat them and Collingwood got within 8 points. We are better than both of those sides.
Essendon are beatable and we have a good a chance as any of knocking them off.
Do not sprout doom, but look forward to when we record our greatest victory since the 95 2nd Semi on Saturday.

You are optimistic arn't you CJH. The is good in a way. I like to be more pesamistic about footy. That way I never go home disapointed, unless of course we have been knocked out of finals contention, again.... :D
Yes Carlton beat them, with 3 of thier best missing, and yes Collingwood came close, I just remember last year how they pulled our pants down round out ankles and gave us the biggest shafting of all time. It wasn't fun.
I just hope for a nice close contest in front of a HUGE crowd. If we win, bonus, and what a bloody bonus it will be. No one will be able to shut me up. If we lose then I hope the players can take something from it.
