No Membership Price Rise!!!

Now that is good news!!!

I suppose not for some, with the 'select' category being upgraded into 'prime' category at the Gabba (the way it is for Finals every year) but still....great to see no price rises at all in the Premium, Prime, Standard and General Admission Membership prices!!

A couple of <$10 price rises in the add on membership components, but getting more for the money next year too - so all evens out by the looks of it.

also good to see that the Qld, Vic, Country, armchair and supporter group info and prices are all in the one 'booklet'.

And seeing as it actually folds out in a team poster/picture from the GF with a 2004 Lions Fixture and Calender with the game days marked on it, I suppose I shouldn't really call it a 'booklet' either!

p.s. Make sure to check your renewal envelope - if you are one of the ppl in the picture let us know!!!

Great to see Bully Boy's eased off on the penny pinching. Might be able to afford Christmas presents this year. :D

That said, there have been some significant price rises over the last 6 years for membership at the Gabba (I don't know how much of that was the same in Vic), and it is bloody FANTASTIC to know that overall I am not paying more to get in and use the same seat in the same spot for the same number of games next year (well at least for 2 of my seats - the other 2 are affected).

What's the deal with member's shirts this year? It seems they are including the cap in the membership price but I can't see any mention of the shirt. Are they doing away with them, or doing them separately later on?

Brissygal, had a meeting tonight and included in the proceedings was a club rep. I asked them this specific Q after seeing your post and the answer was:

"Yes something is being arranged, and it will be directly through the Gabba AFL Shop".

Basically the caps included in membership won't have your member number on it, but will be of a good quality - probably all made by Russell Athletic. (Amazing how many ppl ordered and paid for such caps embroidered with their member number in the last 2 years, only to leave them in the shop and never pick them up - they were eventually sold off cheap in the end of year sales........so any Joe Aussie could purchase a hat with a member number on it at the sales, cause said member never picked it up!!!)

So with all that in mind, it was easier not to include member polos in the membership packages this year, just arrange something seperately, which appears to be what they are doing.
