what are his strengths?
what are his deficiencies?
out of 10 how would you rate him as a package?
compared to charman how does he rate?
if he went into the PSD where would people nab him?

McLaren's going to struggle to get a game as our fourth-string ruckman. He's an honest player but I don't think he'd be the go as a #1 ruckman, but he'd give good service in a support role, especially around the ground.

Unfair to rate him out of ten from his limited opportunities, but he's clearly well behind Keating, Charman and McDonald. There wouldn't be a Lions fan with their thinking head on who'd pick him ahead of Charman.

PSD-wise... I dunno, maybe second round.

He's just that fraction not tall enough to be a #1 ruckman, but he makes up for it elsewhere. He's a v. good contested mark and he always contributes 100%. With some development he could be a good key position player too, but once again he'd be 2nd or 3rd in line behind other Lions presently. I can see he would be good value at another club.

He fits in well with the group and is well liked.

hmmmm sounds interesting, if i were laidley i reckon this boy would be a real punt worth taking if he goes in the PSD and no one else picks him up before our first round pick

I was wondering that the story was with McLaren and Morrison, Brisbane have kept them on their list but I thought that they had quit the club or at least insinuated that their futures lied elsewhere. Are either of them going to be at Brisbane next year??
