Ive seen Kris Miller play for East Freo and he doesnt look too bad... i reckon if he gets a game or two he could become a handy pick up

I think the likes of Antonowicz and Haynes etc havent really shown much and might not be there at the end of the year

Another one i like the look of is Jeremy Humm, maybe he should be given a shot this year as well

Umm well i can only comment on the ones ive seen play so here they are.

Kerr - **** Top class player and only 17!!!! Leads the league in tackles.

Cox - **** Should become a pretty good ruckmen and will realease Gardy to go forward.

Humm - *** Seen a couple of games and looks to be a Braun type player.

Haynes - ** Given more opportunity could push for 3 stars.

Hunter - ** See Haynes.

Munro - *** Like the look of thiis kid, pretty good up forward.

Glass - **** Could become integral in our backline for years to come, hope he recovers fully from his injury.

Embly - **** Really like this kid and i think we have missed him in the first 6 weeks. Versitile, strong, quick, can take a mark, not much to dislike.

Gaspar - **** Havent actually seen him play but you guys seem to be giving him great wraps so i say bring it on.

David Antonowicz - * Hasn't done anything despite having big wraps from people
Zac Beeck - ** Don't know much about him
Dean Buszan - * A Full-forward, not much use for them in this game anymore
Dean Cox - **** Looks to be a very good player in the making
Andrew Embley - **** Reminds me of Heady, has guts
Travis Gaspar - ***** From what i hear this guy could be the next big thing
Darren Glass - **** Could be our next McIntosh
David Haynes - ** Don't think he has the stuff to make it
Jeremy Humm - *** Looks to be a good prospect, but hasn't made his debut yet so we shouldn't expect to much yet
Adam Hunter - ** See Haynes
Daniel Kerr - **** Incredible debut, could develop into a great player
Andrew McCarrey - *** Don't know anything about him at all
Andrew McDougall - ***** A top 5 pick now adays is usually a 5star player in the making
Kris Miller - ** Don't know much about him
Kane Munro - ** I thought he would of done better after his descent debut

Thats my opinion.

Adam Hunter ****
David Haynes ****
Kane Munro****

haynes played 8 games in his first season, he just needs to settle in, he was selected at # 16 in the draft, hes a very versatile player, tall fast strong agile, he can play anywhere
hasnt shown much this year because of injury but when he recovers i beleive he will be a good player

Hunter plays well every week for his wafl club, very disciplined in defense and wtih speed and great agility he will become a good player for us

Munro will replace kemp, hes got all the attributes, he plays well in the wafl, but is still a stick, hes smart around goals and will be a very good forward/midfielder, i liked what i saw, just needs opporturnity

the problem is, that they play well int he WAFL, then come on into the AFL, play 5 min, and get dropped, what stupid coaching is that, it frustrates me, put them on the ground for the whole match, let them learn from playing in defense against good opponents, ken is either trying to destroy them or treating them like hes thier mum, making sure they dont get hurt.

The biggst problem to the eagles future is the players we recruited over the summer, guys like prior and Taylor, they are good players, but are just quick fixes untill our youngsters come through, but they (along wtih harding, carrol etc) are keeping kids out, they play well, in some cases just well enough to keep thier place in the team, while promoting youngsters to play for them would teach them faster and would be better 2 years down the track.

Judge is good at recruiting, but once you recruit players you really have to let them play afl and get threashed a few times to learn.

Unfortunately ah_19, thats the problem lots of teams face. Do a collingwood and develop the youngsters, or do a Nth and trade for quick fix players.

At the end of last year i was hoping we would do a collingwood, unfortunately we haven't. I wasn't happy when we recruited Prior, Carroll, Harding and Taylor. They are too old for our team. I would much rather have prefered to see us get draft picks instead of those players. Taylor and Prior and doing quite good for us, but so what? We were never going to win the premiership this year, we should of just got a few more youngsters and played them, unfortunately we will finish about 12th, most of our youngsters will be still at square one, and Prior, Taylor, Harding and Carroll will be a year older.

I think one of the saddest moments in our clubs history would be if a generation of players(Cousins, Morrison, Joey, Read, Embley, Glass, Gardiner, Wirrpunda, etc) would go through their careers without winning a premiership.

its hard to know who'll make it on the little i've seen of most of these guys. even guys like munro and chambers who've played afl don't seem to get enough time to adjust.

i just hope that before we cut any of these guys at the end of the year we give them a decent chance to prove themselves (provided they earn selection with good results in the wafl). chambers and munro have earnt the right to selection in my opinion but they only get a quarter here or there to show their wares. i think ken judge should give these guys more of a chance- we're not going to win the flag this year so lets focus on developing the talent we've got.

We can't say KJ isn't giving them a go. He see's them at training and knows what they are capable of. If he only lets a player go on for 20mins than in KJ's mind thats all the kid is worth. Maybe only reason the kid got a chance was so the coaching panel could get a better idea of what type of player he is.

I don't think any team delists players only on how they perform onfield, take Bellotti for example. I used to think he would be a decent player for us, and yet he got delisted. Maybe he was lazy at training or something.

I thought Belotti was ok but he was always third string behind Gardy and Turnball, good move though delisting him cos now we got Cox :)
