Warnie is eyeing a career as an actor once he retires according to his English manager in this smh article (http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2003/11/16/1068674452694.html).

He sites Vinnie Jones as a precedent Shane could follow. I had a bit of a chuckle imagining Warnie in Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels.

I think presenting a lame lifestyle / reality tv show might be a bit more within reach for someone with Warnie's charisma and acting chops.

I think he still has another 3 or 4 years of keeping MacGill outa the test team b4 any of that stuff eventuates.

Warne may've already been in a few movies.Paris Hilton style movies. :D

He's more likely to end up in Temptation Island than pop up as an actor in a big budget movie.Then again,Steven Seagal keeps making movies. :o

Very true. Actually - a Warne/Seagal headliner would be a treat. The caterers would struggle to keep up with the pie demand though.

I'd prefer a Warne/Jacko action flick. The acting would be superb, as would the uptake of peroxide.

He should start on neighbors like a lot of other Aussie talent.
If he goes direct to Hollywood he will get eaten alive.

Shane warne doing alright for Channel nine so far this year but I reckon he needs a hair cut.

Yeah,it was rather funny him suggesting that a bloke in the crowd,who caught a 6, need a haircut.
Next Warne will start giving dieting tips.
