Sam Fisher played almost every game for West Adelaide this season under Shaun Rehn. Big improver, about 6'4", very athletic, he generally played as a tall forward, but could play several positions. Might need a bit more time, but is a good prospect and will give 100%. Great golfer, too.

Sam comes from the Riverland in South Australia. Played for Barmera- Monash and comes from a prominent local footballing family.
His cousin Tony Fisher played a few league games for South Adelaide back in the 1980s.
Sam's father Terry coaches Barmera's A grade and his younger brother currently plays juniors for Westies.
Sam is a very talented golfer and his father tried to ensure a pro career, but it didn't happen. Hence he went back to football after about three years of not playing.
As a footballer has a good strong mark, kicks okay. Needs some work on his skills as they are a bit raw - a by product of time away from the game.
Could be a key defender/forward. Reasonably mobile for a lad of size.
League debut this season.
I played against him in 2002. He had a good game in horrible conditions and his side got thumped by about 100 points.

Hes an excellent golfer, he plays off a handicap of 4.
I played a few games against him when he was about 15 has got a bit of talent. Needs to bulk up a fair bit, excellent long kick.
Given time could become an excellent KPP for you, but i doubt he will get the chances given that StKilda have Riewoldt, Koschitzke and co.
