Nathan Bracken will destroy India this season based on the performance by Matthew Inness playing for Victoria against India in the the tour match who took 4 wickets. Reminds me Of anothre Left Arm Bowler against India in Big Bird Bruce Reid who took something like 7 wickets against India at the MCGn in the early 1990's.
If Australia play all a few arm bowlers like Bracken, Inness and Bevan that I am can remember right now, I think you will find the all the test matches will end during the 3rd Day of the match
You'd think the Indians would get a fair bot of practice netting against their own three left arm "quicks" (I use the term loosely ;) ). Khan, Nehra and Pathan are all left arm seamers.

I dont think it matters what arm is used during this series, India are going to get a flogging. For some reason the Sydney pitch is always a bit greener when the Indians are in the country.

Will be an absolute miscarriage of justice if Bracken gets picked ahead of Williams in the first test.

Inness did bowl quite well against the Indians, but unfortunately none of the selectors will even think of picking him so there is no point going down that track.
The way see Williams and Bracken are like this:
Williams is more of a Test Match bowler
Bracken is more of a One Day bowler
That is the impression I get from their styles of bowling. This isn't based on stats at all (they will probably prove me wrong). I wouldn't be putting Bracken in the test team based on how well he went in India.

Bevan is the better bowler than those 2. Bevan has taken wickets in test matches aginst better oppostion has opposed to Katich against Zimbabwe. At there best Zimbabwe will be a good districk side that about it.

Mate, when was the last time Bevan bowled? FC game or OD?
I think your assessment of Bevan's bowling is well and truly based in the distant past. I think both Katich and Clarke are far more useful bowlers than Bevan is now.
Besides you can't knock katich for only taking wickets against Zim - he's only played two tests

Based on that theory then the Windies would be a bunch of pub league players. They lost an ODI series to the Zimbos recently.
I have never rated Katich as either a bat or a bowl and I doubt I ever will. Even Boof Lehmann is a better option than all of those, particularly in ODI's/
I think some of you guys seriously underrate Katich's bowling.
He's a far more dangerous bowler than Michael Bevan - who bowls two balls: the long hop and the full toss - and Darren Lehmann - who can keep it tight and speed up the over rate, but Boof does nothing with the ball and isn't a wicket taker.

I think the miscarriage of justice is that Inness isn't in the side however considering everyone has argued this point into tedium, Bracken has to be put in the side ahead of Williams as his left arm pace/swing will decimate the Indians
Bracken would be lethal against the indians but i think williams is better quality - prefer to have him bowling if tendulkar/dravid/shewag hit their straps

Now that i think about it i would much prefer Williams and Bracken (or Inness for that matter) ahead of Bichel. He was highly unimpressive in the one-day series against India, and his test form of late hasn't been much to write home about.

Guess what happen fir the first test match at the gabba.
Bracken will play most games this summer (both test and one dayers) and Williams will be carrying the drinks. At the best Williams will play in a few one dayers when the the bowlers are having a rest for that match
