I don't often agree with Dermott Brereton, but during last night's commentary he said, "If you've got even a teaspoon of red, white and blue blood in you, take out a membership. You'll always get value for money with the Bulldogs."
Ok we haven't YET got a flag, but it's been a great ride the last few years and there is a unique spirit about our club that can't be allowed to die.
Please please join up. I know a lot of people are disenchanted with the way footy is going, or don't agree with coaching decisions, or are sick of us not making it to the GF, but stick with us and one day WE WILL.
And other clubs' fans, I know this is cheeky but if you've EVER enjoyed watching the Doggies play (maybe they thumped your worst enemy) how about helping us out by buying a membership?

You're certainly right, Dogs. I signed up and have received my membership package, though I won't be going to any matches this year. Hey, even my cat, Jordan, signed up as a Junior Squadron member. He's having a bit of a tough time, though, with the Western Bulldogs Activity Book. Just can't get the pencil to stay in his paw the right way!

I am buying another membership because I have had it with the AFL and the media trying to get rid of my beloved bulldogs.
Well they can just give up now cos it is not going to happen.
And off the subject I would just like to say that I love the name Western Bulldogs and I'm glad and grateful to have a president like David Smorgan and a fantastic coach in Terry Wallace.

I have a membership for me, my two year son(who has been to every game this year-except Port) and the baby due in 7 weeks will be born a member of the footy club (as I was, and my Son). If I could convince my wife then she too would be a member, but she really never goes. She is however a doggies supporter.(it was almost the first thing I asked her when we met)
One of my mates is doing better though-Hes got three kids a wife and himself signed up. Can anyone beat that?

Thats right Dogs_r_us.
The Bulldogs are just shy of 18,000 members, and if the Western Bulldogs are gonna be a force in season 2001, everyone has to chip in and take money outta ur wallet and by a membership.
One membership buys an AFL ball, or A Western Bulldogs Gurnsey. If you watched the Footy Show 2 weeks ago, you would've seen scott West, Luke Darcy and Nathan Brown in Kangarros, Collingwood and Port.Adelaide Gurnseys. The bulldogs were Just trying to get a message out to the Bulldogs fans, that if we dont all chip in and Work together we will not be a side anymore.
Lets all see you guys chipping in because together we win.
Go Dogs!
