* Kingsley to fire up again and kick at least 50 goals
* Someone to hold down CHF [McCarthy/Gumby...etc]
* The return of King
* Players like Gardiner,Hunt & Playfair taking the next step

Squeeze into the eight just ahead of Hawthorn and North;) 13 wins. Never flogged.

Kelly, and Bartel to really come on and establish themselves as quality onballers (these two are the keys for me).

Corey, Ablett, and Chapman to continue at their current rate

Enright moves onto a wing

A hard working Half forward line with Haynes and Steve Johnson contributing 50 goals between them. An injury free Mooney doing the tough stuff at CHF.

Thurley to kick 30 goals from 20 games in the Forward pocket :p

Ben Graham to play Full Forward for the year and do what Gerhig has done. 65-70 goals (this is a personal dream of mine. Plays the whole year like he did against Richmond that day)

Pray that Scarlett and Harley play 40 games between them.

Mackie and a 'Tarrant like' Gardiner to be the big bolters form the VFL. Really make a name for themseleves

Callan and Tenace show enough in their 10 games each at the highest level

Lonegan to kick 50+ in the magoos and add 10kgs while Gayfer looks like he owns CHB winning best first year VFL player.

23,000+ members GET BEHIND THE CATS IN '04
a nice little profit
the cheersquad to do something during the game, maybe create some new chants and say them more often.
VFL team to win the GF

Please no.

I'm expecting much of the same. Look good in patches but miss the eight by a game or two, finish 9-10th.

Sanderson to win the B+F.

Thurley to lead the goal kicking.

Gardiner, Hunt to rot in reserves. Rahilly and D. Johnson to play too many senior games.

BigCat, you have us down for where, mate? Just outside the 8!... Try a Premiership with those descriptions ;)

I want to see James Kelly turn into a star and Joel Corey to finally reach his potential. I would add Mooney to that list, but he has had far too many chances.

Finals would be nice... I'm not feeling too greedy this year, particularly when i know that they'll just smash my dreams to bits :(

I forgot to title my post as 'What are you dreaming for in 2004' :p

In reality I doubt much will change. Maybe a few more wins with a slight improvement from the youngsters. Somewhere between 9th and 12th.

I've learnt to expect the unexpected with Geelong, especially in recent seasons. I will probably go into next season with a similar belief to this season... we could finish anywhere from 4th to 12th.

All I can really say is... if St Kilda make the 8 and we fall short.. I'll be ****ed off.

I agree with catattack. Top eight and I have a bet with my friend that we make the Grand Final.

Do you think Bomber will see out the year? I do I think he is the best coach in the league.

I also hope to see Nathan Ablett playing with the Cats.

He will.

Even if we miss the eight, the club will keep him on because he's re-signed, and the fact Geelong won't dump him mid term. It would take a lot of poor on-field form until he gets given the door.

I hope that some of his internal work shines on the field next season.

Good day, Mr One Eyed Healy.

Bomber will definitely be at the helm in 12 months time, but somehow, I'm not so sure that it will be because of his prowess in the coach's box.

I'm starting to wonder if your post was a joke... How can you question the coach's postion, yet have a bet with your friend on Geelong - a team that finished outside the 8 this season - making the Grand Final.

No my post wasn't a joke. My friend was bagging us and I wanted to back the Cats to the full. That's why I bet that we'd make the granny. As for the coach my other friend Dan bags Thompson all the time. He thinks he will be sacked, I just wanted to know what other people thought.
