Here are the stats for the Power players that played SANFL:

Bassett - 15 touches, 10 marks, 2 goals, 4th best
Cassisi - 18 touches, 5 marks, 1 goal
Koulouriotis - 6 touches, 2 marks
Hollands - 30 touches, 9 marks, BOG
S Burgoyne - 8 touches, 1 mark
Thurstans - 20 touches, 10 marks, 1 goal, 3rd best
Lockwood - 6 touches, 2 marks
M Stevens - 16 touches, 4 marks
A Murray - 11 touches, 4 marks, 1 goal
Bishop - 8 touches, 1 mark
Brogan - 18 touches, 6 marks, 1 goal, 2nd best
Hall - 23 touches, 5 marks

The game i saw, Port v Sturt:
Burgoyne had a very good stopping role in defence, and he did his job on White perfectly. Thurstans did very well and really is pushing hard for a debut game with the Power. Cassisi is also playing very consistent footy with Wests.

I hope the Power commitee do the right thing and get Ben Hollands on the mian squad. He is the better of our three on the rookie list.

Macca, is Tom Carr still on our rookie list?. He had a great game Saturday, he is a quality player it is just unlucky that he has always been injury prone.

Tommy was on the rookie list for the 2000 season, but isnt this year. Im really dissapointed he got dropped. He is one of our better players with the magpies week in week out...i think he has more skill than Poulton, its just a pity he couldnt break into the Power when on the list.
He will probably get picked up by another cl ub as he is still fairly young.

Ben Hollands also got a vote for SANFL Player of the Year and so did Brogan.

The trouble at the moment is that there just isn't enough room to bring someone else in. There's a few players that should have a game for the Power, but barring injuries, Port can't afford to drop players who are performing well.

I agree. Well done Macca. Great Stuff.
It will interesting when Adam Morgan returns from injury (hopefully this week). The bit I have seen of him was impressive and reviews I have received favourable. Great to see that Thurstans is starting to make an impact and hopefully will develop further.
At this early stage who would you say would be in trouble of delisting/trading. I would say:
Bishop
Lyle
Morgan
Lockwood
M Stevens
French
Bond
D Murray
Steinberner
Of the rookies Brosnan will need to dominate in the finals.
Your thoughts would be appreciated.
