Lote is on about 250k a year to play union, could probably get the same or thereabouts to go back to league and next time his contract is up with ARU, I would say he would get a pay rise, now would you consider playing AFL for 40,000 a year plus match payments?? I don't think so.
If he's any good he'd get atleast what he is getting in terms of salary, i guess the issue would be would he be any good? I'd say his build is a bloody good start and his ball handling skills would be good, his tackling would be second to none but his kicking would be the let down.
I would doubt anything comes of it, what's he got to gain from starting a third code at his age?
In answer to the original question, he add a fair bit, probably a good CHB or run him in the midfield, he'd scare a few blokes!
