I wouldn't say we were the best team on the night. Your guys led for the majority of the night and had an opportunity to kick away from us but for poor goalkicking.

Having said that I'm still pretty devastated about the loss. Time and time again over the past two years we have worked hard to give ourselves the chance to win only to give up when the game is in the balance.

Still, there were a few positives and we lost to a team that is now 7-0 and looking very good.

Still not too keen on losing, especially when we're in a position to win so late in the game. If we can continue to improve I'll look forward confidently to the re-match. For your sake (only) I hope your mob have sewn up their best spot on the ladder before the last game coz we owe ya :D :D

ta vanders, the better team on the day always wins. we had the lead and the momentum at the right time of the game yet still managed to lose by a couple of goals.

hats off to the hawks though they won the game when it had to be won, something our blokes are still to learn.

Not a bad effort by your mob boys. They played some of the better footy I have seen from them in recent times. I think we probably just believed a little more in the end and a couple of our stars in Chick and Barker took the game by the scruff of the neck. But you certainly gave us a scare.

Nice ten minute cameo from your love child too sainter ;) He showed a bit the young fella, one to watch out for.
