Is anyone going to see them live. I can't wait. They rock live.

Snuck into the Triple M session at the Evelyn a few weeks back, less than 200 there.

Sensational as always, new drummer goes alright too. You are in for a great show.

don't mind the living end, deciding whether to see them @ the brass or the palace...

but to be honest i think they're a bit overrated, i still like them... but i don't reckon they're as good as everyone reckons they are...

Not a huge fan, but I was really impressed by them live a couple of years ago. Of course, I was really drunk at the time.

Would consider. Don't mind them at all.

that's the kinda thing i'm talkin about... everyone wraps them up, and don't get me wrong, they are a good band, but i wouldn't hold them in any higher regard than say pacifier, 28 days, grinspoon and bodyjar for examples...

their music is good, but as you can tell by the amout of airplay they get on triple m they are overrated...

Can barely stand them anymore they were much better as a little rockabilly band (the runaway boys) up at our local. Have to admit i had a mad crush on Chris Cheney and used to follow him round a bit when he lived up the rd and worked at our school but commercial radio has ****ed them over now, always the way. They come in handy for making a bargain out of though, sold my Hellbound cd for 34.95. Then again maybe i'm just angry that i didn't **** him before they got famous

check this page out...
http://punkpages.hypermart.net/tlesux/index.htm (ironic when they've got Offspring in their good bands section eheheh give him credit for mentioning their old stuff tho)

"Roll On" IMO is one of the strongest albums made by an Aussie artist in recent memory. GREAT rock album, very intelligent and thoughtful arrangements, great muscianship and just a superb production. Just sad that it bombed sales wise.

Sadly, i think the lack of commercial success of Roll On had an influence on the follow-up, Modern Artilery. I recon they let themselve's down with it personally.

I saw them live at Rockit, and I'm not a really big fan. I didn't really get into it.

Truely great band, great guys and kick arse sound. Great live, and know what its like to be a normal bloke goin to see a good live band at the local, so they always put on a good show, cant wait, seeing em twice.

One of my favourite bands going to see them on the 18th.
Chris is a great guitar player and Scott is great with the double bass, it sure it better to stand on than a regular bass.
The drummer's pretty good to.
Their third album is quite good it had a different sound, but is probably better than Roll On. If you are a fan of their first album you probably will like Modern ARTillery.

I'm not up with much recent music, but I think these guys are pretty good. They have a lot of energy & conviction, and their general sound is not too far off the mark. Plus they're catchy.
