> David Basheer has been elected by the Board as the new President of the Port Adelaide Magpies Football Club. David has been on the Board of the club since 1996 as Marketing / Fundraising Director and Deputy Chairman for the past 2 years. David succeeds outgoing President Brett Duncanson.

> David is honoured to be leading the club he is so passionate about and is very much looking forward to the 2004 season adding,
