Thats 3 in 7 rounds. At this rate by the end of the season we could probably field a whole team that has had at least 1 Knee Recon. Its terrible. Whats up with the Eagles Fitness staff over the last couple of years, what have we been doing wrong. Every year we are being decimated by injury, meaning all our ex stars are retiring within 3 years of each other, and leaving a team with such little AFL experience that we are in the worst position of all teams in the AFL, even Freo without a win can still manage to take it up to some of the best. Only 2 teams so far have won the week after playing the dockers. The Eagles have a long way to go, could be 3-4 years before we once again play finals footy, but once we do I'm sure we will have an awesome team once again!

To eagleskickass, I seem to be following you around this board. I just posted a message about Prior when I checked you had to. Us South-West Western Australians must think the same. How many players are injured now. tjrra

What a shocker! Prior was our best against Essendon and I really felt he was starting to have an impact and presence in our backline. I hope it's not too serious (but then again we were just as shocked with Read's injury). Both incidents/injuries were very similar also - an opposition player falling onto their knee.
