With all these injuries etc, our goal to goal line is going to change a fair bit in the next year or so....

this is what it was at the beginning of the year:

FB: McIntosh
CHB: Jakovich
C: Kemp
CHF: Sierakowski
FF: Cummings

the CHF position is debatable but who else was gonna play there???

i think that if milli and kemp retire (which i think they will) and with Seira out injured, then it'll be like this:

FB: ??
CHB: Jakovich
C: Cousins
CHF: ??
FF: Wilson / Cummings

now we take into account that Jako isnt quick enough to play CHB... im not putting him down but realistacally, the past couple of years hes been way too slow.. if Jako gets taken out of CHB, then what is our goal to goal line??

any suggestions???

How about this unorthodox line:
FB: Glass
HB: Williams
C: Cousins
CHF: Gaspar
FF: Buszan

Very young players, but if we throw em into those positions NOW by next year they could be decent players and by 2003 they could be a dominant spine.

no doubt a goal to goal line for the future, but it'll take ages for that line to exist

no coach (especially Judge) would consider a move like that

sorry, but we actually dont have a goal to goal line :p

i think we should do this

FB: Glass
HB: Turnbull
C: Cousins
CHF: Gaspar
FF: Jackovich

Williams is too short for a key position
hes 185 cm,

I pretty much agree, but with one difference. Travis Gaspar at CHF, Gardiner #1 Ruckman and Cox #2. He can play either of the bench, or as an extra tall somewhere on the ground.

Ruck should be considered in the spine.
Cox is too raw. He will make it in time amd may prove better than Gardy.

Milli
Jacko
Kemp
Sierra
Cummings
Gardy

that was what we hoped for. They are all injured or too slow in Jakos case. It is a spineless spine.

We also expected Glass and Prior to be good half backs with Ready in a pocket... Gone

We also looked to having Brauny back as a key midfielder... no good so far.

Our positives have been the unexpected. Wilson, Kerr, Fletcher, Cox.

What was our best side before the ansett started

Read Milli Wirrapunda
Prior Jakovich Glass
Morrisson Kemp Peter Matera
Donnelly Sierakowski Merenda
Braun Cummings Joey

R: Gardiner Cousins Banfield

I :Jones, Williams, Taylor, Turnbull

injured in red

Add to that the fact that Cosins, Jones, Turnbull, Wirra, and Joey have all had injuries and been out of side

Not much left of our best 22
