Harding was woeful yesterday. I was embarressed to support the team in which he was wearing our jumper. He kept backing away from any contest that came slightly near him and was well beaten by his man. Trent Carroll who was disgarded from the Dockers has been just as bad, although his size and strenth may be his asset - once he knows how to play football.

With squads being reduced to 35 next year, can anyone see either of these 2 surviving the chop and being with the Eagles in season 2002?

not a chance, what a waste of a draft choice that we could have gotten for metro

ive really tried to stick with these guys since they are eagles now, but after some of their games this year, ive realised that we wasted valuable draft picks and a good player in metropolis for these duds.

ive seen carroll in most of his games this year and i cant see why he's in the team, he's been really really ordinary. With Harding, i saw him at the Eagles v Richmond game and he was pretty ordinary as well

if the lists are cut to 35, then i think that carroll and Harding will be axed

Well the ways things are going we may need some of them from now on unfortunately. Both of them COULD be capable and one game they may just click or they could fade out as it popular opinion here :( I still would prefer Metro over Harding though. I feel so sorry for Prior, he had everything going for him over here and things aren't looking too good for him.

I never expected much of harding, but i heard lots of positives about Carroll. He was WA u-18 all australian captain. That says he has ability to play, so maybe its a mental thing with him.

Harding on the other hand struggled to get a game at freo last season, despite being 25, most players at 25 are regulars with their teams.

But i guess if we picked up a few bargains in Prior, Merenda and Collica we were bound to get a few duds.

I just hope that we havent wasted the Clubs money and signed them on long term contracts;)

well i agree but it doesn't bother me cause we got metro no while he has done some stupid things he has gotten us goals at crucial times and has played pretty good footy i think we won that deal
